We offer a 2,200 sq/ft. fitness coaching facility located in Longmont, Colorado. We offer group and individual coaching, using the CrossFit methodology. CrossFit workouts are comprised of constantly varied functional movements (like pushing, pulling, squatting, lifting, running) executed at high intensity.
What We Do
Instead of rows of stationary bikes and weight machines, our facility is filled with pull-up bars, kettlebells, barbells, rowers and wide open space for squatting, running, jumping, climbing, lifting and throwing – moving your body the way it is supposed to be moved.
All of your workouts are made up of exercises that mimic movements performed in day-to-day life or sport. We focus on improving functional movements that are necessary and common in your daily activities, like picking up your kids or moving that bag of mulch from your trunk to the backyard.
How We're Different
At CrossFit, you never workout alone. Instead, you train with a small group of other athletes and one of our experienced, professional coaches who come up with a different, fun workout everyday and help customize it to suit your fitness level.
All classes are 60 minutes long and guaranteed to make you work hard. Our workouts are designed improve your capacity in ten recognized fitness domains: cardiovascular-respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy.
Working with a small group of 12 athletes or fewer helps you get the personal attention that you just can't find at a large gym. Our month-long beginner's On-Ramp trains you in the movements we use and keeps WOD classes moving along quickly. We strive to create a friendly and fun atmosphere that welcomes athletes from all walks of life. Your team is there to motivate and support you as you transform yourself mentally and physically.

James Drebenstedt
Gym owner and powerlifting coach
Gym owner and powerlifting coach
James had a thoroughly undistinguished but fun middle and high school athletic career in wrestling and football before sitting around for several years getting fat, weak, and lazy. After getting sick of being out of shape, he started the road to recovery by studying Brazilian jiu-jitsu at the highly regarded Easton Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Boulder. He eventually gained enough nerve to compete, and a near death from exhaustion triple overtime experience convinced him he needed further conditioning. He abandoned his commercial gym, turned to CrossFit, and has made continued progress ever since.
James is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu blue belt, a certified level 1 CrossFit and CrossFit Football instructor, as well as a USAW Sports Performance Coach. James is training for a Powerlifting meet in August; he has already reached a 440 pound squat and is training for a 500+ pound squat. He is also training for the indoor rowing championships with a hot 500 m. His particular interests include absolute strength, short metabolic conditioning for athletes.
Check out his funny and irreverent blog at BarbellMile. Mature audiences, please.
Coach James would be a great fit for someone looking to get the next level in a competitive sport, especially powerlifting, football, or sculling. Available for consultations or private training.

Gym owner, gym manager, membership services, and coach
Vanessa discovered barbell lifting late in life, after a lot of yoga and hiking. She discovered the low-intensity stuff doesn't really change body composition or make you faster. She says she is in the best shape of her life at over forty, thanks to CrossFit and Paleo eating!
She is a certified CrossFit Level 1 instructor, a CrossFit Olympic Weightlifting, CrossFit Mobility, and CrossFit Kids instructor, as well as a USAW Sports Performance Coach. She loves passing on the accumulated wisdom of many coaches’ years of experience. Let her obsess over the details for you so that you can get in, get strong and conditioned, and get on with your life.
She says "The mental and physical changes of CrossFit can be painful yet so rewarding. Again and again I have stepped out of my comfort zone to challenge myself through competition, faster times, heavier weights or maybe just wanting to be faster than the person next to me....who knew I would feel that way? My diet is much better and more consistent than before CrossFit. Today I am a much healthier person with lean muscle and maintaining weight."
Sara runs the wildly popular Saturday morning class and also teaches Wednesday evenings.
Audrey Burgio
Audrey has a strong background in gymnastics. Her specialty is body-weight movements, like muscle-ups and handstand walking, but she has also totaled 540 pounds in her first powerlifting meet! Audrey teaches morning On-Ramp, morning WOD, and Tuesday evening WOD classes. Available for private coaching.
